Individual artists in a studio setting have carefully crafted all of the pieces you see on our web site. We work very closely with each artist so that production schedules may accommodate our customers' needs as best as possible, however given the handcrafted nature of these pieces, subtle variations in detail and finish can occur as well as unpredictable delivery times.

DELIVERY

Purchases are shipped within 2 days of receipt; Out Of Stock items may be available for Special Order. Because DOCLE specializes in hand-made, limited edition artisan and designer jewelry some pieces may require 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. You will be informed of availability at the time of your purchase.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

All orders are shipped via insured UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air.

Shipping times exclude weekends and holidays. Shipping prices are subject to change. Sales tax is not added unless we are shipping to within Colorado.

IN-STORE PICK-UP

If you are in Telluride, you can stop by and pick it up.

RETURNS

Purchases from our inventory may be exchanged within 15 days of the date of purchase either for another piece of jewelry or for store credit, providing you have your sales or gift receipt.
We do not give refunds.
Special and Custom Orders are final sales and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Please call to obtain an RA number and return shipping instructions.

Please be sure to fully insure the package.

SPECIAL AND CUSTOM ORDERS

Featured jewelry that is out of stock may be ordered and is considered a Special Order.
Featured jewelry designs altered for specific client requests (other than ring size and chain length) are considered Custom Orders.
All Special and Custom Orders must be paid in full before the order is processed.
Complimentary adjustments and ring sizing must be made within 30 days of purchase, providing the piece is in new condition. Not all adjustments are complimentary.

SECURITY POLICY
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.


LAYAWAYS

A 50% deposit is required to create a layaway account. The balance must be paid within 90 days.
A 15% service fee will be charged on cancelled orders.

GIFT WRAP

All purchases are placed in DOLCE�s signature drawstring jewelry pouch with the artist�s biography. The pouch is packaged in our white gift box and hand tied with our custom ribbon. If your purchase is a gift, your personal note will be hand written on a DOLCE note card. A gift receipt will be included.

GIFT CARDS

DOLCE Gift Cards are available in the amount you choose and are not taxed. Our Gift Cards are wrapped in DOLCE�s white gift box and hand tied with our custom blue ribbon and are shipped via UPS. Shipping charges will be applied.

RING SIZES

There are many factors that affect a ring size, including air travel, spicy foods, alcohol, climate change and altitude can dramatically influence finger size. DOLCE guarantees that rings will be the size ordered; however, we cannot guarantee the size of your finger.

If you believe that your hand may be swollen, we strongly suggest a ring ordered not be processed until an accurate size is determined, either by a visit to DOLCE, by a jeweler in your home city or by using a ring gauge, which we can provide.

The first time we adjust the size of a ring the service is complimentary, providing the piece is in new condition and within 30 days of purchase.

If the ring size must be adjusted again, or if it is the first time we adjust the size of a ring that was especially made for you, the following charges apply. Please note that shipping fees may be applied as well. Ring sizing prices are subject to change.

JEWELRY CARE

All pieces should be stored in your DOLCE pouches. This will help prevent scratches on the stone and metal surfaces. Although some stones are more sensitive than others, it is best to keep all stones away from extreme heat and sudden changes in temperature. We recommend applying hair sprays and fragrances before putting on your jewelry, especially when wearing soft or porous stones. Always remove your jewelry before washing to prevent soap build up. It is beneficial to wear your jewelry often. The natural oils in your skin help to keep your stones and metals clean and conditioned.

You can make your own cleaning solution using six parts warm water to one part ammonia. Dip your gold, platinum, or silver jewelry in the solution and scrub gently using a soft bristle toothbrush. Rinse in warm water and pat dry with a paper towel. Silver may require additional cleaning with the use of a tarnish removing polish.

Diamonds, rubies and sapphires are considered hard stones. The cleaning solution described above would be a safe method of cleaning these gemstones. Also you may use the solution and instructions on amethyst, aquamarine, beryl, carnelian, chalcedony, citrine, garnet, iolite, jade, moonstone, morganite, peridot, quartz, spinel, topaz, tourmaline, and zircon. All the stones mentioned above may also be cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner; however, we recommend using caution with beryl, garnet, iolite, peridot, spinel, topaz, and tourmalines.

Apatite, emerald, and tanzanite are considered softer stones and should only be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush. These stones, as well as coral, lapis opal, pearl, and turquoise, which are porous, should not come in contact with any acids, chemicals, or solvents. It is best to avoid contact with water for these more porous stones. Pearls are especially sensitive to such agents; even cosmetics can be harmful to the pearl's luster. We recommend having your pearls professionally cleaned and restrung on an annual basis.
